Amy Childs is going through the stresses and fears of becoming a mum as she admits she is ‘panicking’ over her unborn twins.
The Only Way Is Essex star Amy, 32, is expecting two children with her boyfriend Billy Delbosq, adding to her children from previous relationships: Polly, five, and four-year-old Ritchie.
Despite having been through pregnancy and childbirth twice before, Amy feels like she had gone ‘back to square one’ as she frets over the health of her babies.
Writing in her column for OK! this week, the reality star opened up about a recent incident in which she couldn’t get to sleep, and in the middle of the night her stomach began ‘cramping.’
‘I’ve had it before, it’s not like it’s my first baby, but I said to Bill that something felt different,’ she said.
After first feeling the cramping at around 1am, the expectant mother stuck it out until 3.30am, when she called the hospital and explained she had a ‘belly ache and bad belly pain.’
She added that she could feel her babies moving and being ‘really active,’ and worried that she would go to the hospital only to be told she was having Braxton Hicks, or false labour pains.
‘I’m a worrier, so if the babies weren’t moving I’d have definitely gone down to hospital,’ she added,
The mother-of-two, soon to be four, admitted she believed her twins were on the way when she got the first twinges of cramps as she is now 35 weeks – and revealed she had seen a psychic who told her she would be going into labour this month.
Towie star Amy was previously rushed to hospital in January this year when her twins stopped kicking, but thankfully everything ended up being okay.
She explained in an Instagram live that she ‘didn’t feel a kick’ and ‘rang the midwife straight away, of course I got checked. It was fine.’
Amy confessed: ‘That worry never goes.’
