Amy Childs has revealed that she was hilariously probed with Towie questions by her nurse to calm her down while giving birth.

The reality star is currently six months pregnant with her second child, and ahead of giving birth, spoke about her experience at having her first daughter, baby Polly.

Speaking in this week’s OK! Magazine, Amy said: ‘I’m really nervous about the birth because I know what to expect. The pain was so bad.

‘My midwives were great – one of them loved TOWIE and Mark Wright. Between my contractions, she was like: “Is Mark lovely?”’

As a result, she has chosen Broomfield Hospital in Essex for the birth of her new baby too.

‘I want to do it naturally but I’m not ruling out an epidural,’ she explained. ‘I’d never choose a Caesarean and I’d never have a home birth.

‘Sam [Faiers] asked me if I’d have one as she’s had two and I was like: “Absolutely not!” I’m too much of a worrier.’

Amy announced earlier this year she was pregnant with her second child, after giving birth to Polly just a year ago.

Admitting it was a shock to fall pregnant again so quickly, she posted a picture of her bump on Instagram and wrote: ‘My partner and I are delighted to announce that Polly will soon be welcoming a little brother or sister Into the world. We are beyond excited!’

This is her first child with her new boyfriend Ritchie, who has opted to stay out of the limelight.

‘He has a good job and he just doesn’t want to be involved,’ Amy explained. ‘He said: “I love Polly and I’ll love the newborn, but I don’t want to be a part of it,” and I have to respect that.’

‘With Ritchie, it’s so refreshing to be with someone like that. I’ve had boyfriends who’ve been fame hungry, so it’s nice to keep it separate.’
