Amy Childs has opened up about being a working mum, and warned Cheryl about feeling the dreaded ‘mum guilt’.

The Fight For Your Love songstress has made a comeback to the charts, and has even debuted her new single Love Mad Me Do It on the X Factor.

However, fellow mum Amy has reached out to Cheryl about getting back into work after having over a year off with her baby Bear.

The Towie star revealed that she returned to her salon just three days after giving birth to her daughter Poppy, but insisted she was lucky because her job was only down the road.

However, as Cheryl has taken off almost more than 12 months, Amy believes the singer may find it difficult getting back into the swing of things.

She told new! magazine: ‘Of course you will feel guilt as a working mum. You spend most of your time wondering if your baby is okay and constantly questioning what they are doing, what they are eating.

‘Sometimes you find that all you talk about is babies. You meet a friend, you talk about your babies, your partner comes home, you tell him about what the kids have done.’

The 28-year-old joked about having a conversation that didn’t involve Peppa Pig, before adding: ‘As long as Cheryl has good people around to support and help her, I’m sure she will be fine.

‘She just needs to be prepared to miss her son – but also to remember that she needs to make the most of the break.’

Earlier this month, Cheryl spoke to The Guardian about her career, and how she would drop everything for her son.

She revealed to the publication that if her comeback is a flop, she is not prepared to take mediocre sales over time with her one-year-old.

The 35-year-old said: ‘If it goes in at 80, it’s time for me to move on with my life. I’m not going to jump around working hard and spending time away from my son for that.’

She added: ‘Is the juice worth the squeeze?’
