The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs got Vanessa Feltz’s name wrong after admitting she aspired to sound like her in an elocution lesson.
In a first-look clip of Sunday night’s instalment, Amy is sat in her garden alongside Saffron Lempriere and Bobby Norris as she speaks to a speech expert.
Amy explained that she enrolled in elocution lessons in a bid to improve her communication skills.
However, when the reality star was asked by the therapist who she aspired to sound like, Amy responded with: ‘Vanessa Phelps’.
‘So Amy, you invited me here to talk through speech,’ the expert began.
‘I think I need to be pronouncing words much better, I don’t pronounce the right words, do you know what I mean?’ Amy explained.
To which the speech therapist replied: ‘I think it helps to have a person in your head that you want to sound like.I’d like to know who you’d like to sound like.’
‘It’s really random but I’d really like to sound like Vanessa Phelps,’ Amy added.
‘She’s very over the top, I am quite an over the top person but I love how she speaks, so I’d probably say, Vanessa Phelps.’
‘Ames, is it Phelps or Feltz?’ Saffron chipped in.
‘Feltz,’ Amy replied.
Elsewhere in Sunday’s episode, the drama between Amber Turner and Nicole Bass continues as Yazmin Oukhellou admits that she made a mistake in trying to bring the pair together.
Tommy Mallet, who is keen to have some quality bonding time with the boys, organises an assault course challenge – but the losing team has to face an unsavoury forfeit.
The Only Way Is Essex continues Sunday, 9pm on ITVBe.
